Terms of Service

1. Service Description

ConnectedSpaces provides managed internet infrastructure services for residential and commercial properties, including ISP aggregation, network management, tenant provisioning, and technical support.

2. Service Model & Your Rights

ConnectedSpaces operates a non-exclusive managed internet service model. Residents are never required to use ConnectedSpaces as their sole internet provider and may subscribe to any alternative ISP of their choosing. Our service is offered as a convenient, “instant-on” amenity — not a mandate. Where a technology amenity fee is included in your lease or community package, it covers the infrastructure and availability of the managed service at your property.

ConnectedSpaces does not enter into exclusive arrangements that prevent property owners from working with other internet service providers. Our revenue-sharing agreements with property owners are non-exclusive and do not restrict resident choice, consistent with FCC rules governing broadband access in multi-dwelling units (47 C.F.R. §§ 76.2000 et seq.).

Under the FCC's Over-the-Air Reception Devices (OTARD) rule (47 C.F.R. § 1.4000), residents retain the right to install satellite dishes, fixed wireless antennas, and similar reception devices in areas within their exclusive use (e.g., balconies, patios). ConnectedSpaces does not restrict or interfere with this right.

3. Service Availability

We target 99.5% uptime for all managed connections. Scheduled maintenance windows will be communicated at least 48 hours in advance. Emergency maintenance may occur without prior notice.

4. Acceptable Use

Users agree not to use ConnectedSpaces services for any unlawful purpose, to distribute malware, to engage in network abuse, or to interfere with other users' service quality.

5. Billing & Payment

Service fees are billed monthly in advance. Payment is due on the first of each month. Late payments may result in service suspension after a 15-day grace period.

6. Termination

Either party may terminate service with 30 days written notice. Early termination of contract-term agreements may incur fees as specified in the service agreement.

7. Limitation of Liability

ConnectedSpaces liability is limited to the monthly service fee for the affected period. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Regulatory Compliance

ConnectedSpaces complies with all applicable Federal Communications Commission (FCC) rules for broadband service in multi-dwelling units, including rules on non-exclusive access, revenue-sharing transparency, and marketing disclosures. If you believe your rights as a consumer are not being respected, you may file a complaint with the FCC at consumercomplaints.fcc.gov.
